18thC Antique small Wall Mirror very good detail, English Circa 1770
About the Item
This is a fine quality English Wall Mirror of small proportions, dating to the second half of the 18th century, George 111rd period, circa 1770.
The mirror is well constructed with a hardwood veneered frame, veneered on pine. This mirror has many fine features;
1) Small proportions
2) Cross banded sides to the front as per Chests of this period.
4) Boxwood line inlay to front outer edges.
5) Hand carved (fretwork) cresting pediment to top rail
We date this mirror to the second half of the 18th Century, George 111rd period circa 1770.
The small size of this mirror enables it to fit in virtually any room of the house.
The back has a brass ring for hanging.
